Veda Loucinda Burke

Veda Loucinda Burke 92 of Wharton Creek passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 at her home. She was born April 30, 1929 in Madison County to William Abraham Coble and Bonnie Alice (Lane) Coble.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, one brother, daughter, Judy Pitts; son, Arthur Wayne Burke and her husband of 56 years, Arthur Fred Burke.

Survivors include her son, Johnny Burke of the home; son in law, Pete Pitts; daughter in law, Shirley Burke; grandchildren, Shani, Lichelle, Nathan, Brad, Jim, Cacee, Chad, Nick, Justin, and Brian; thirty-one great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held 1PM, Wednesday September 29, 2021 at the Lower Wharton Creek Church with Jim Hepler officiating. A visitation will be an hour prior to service. Burial will follow at the Wharton Creek Cemetery. Funeral Services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville.

Pallbearers will be Brad Dorsey, James Dorsey, Nathan Burke, Chad Burke, Justin Burke, Nick Burke and Brian Burke

Honorary Pallbearer will be Pete Pitts.
