Vernon Heihn Obituary

Vernon August Heihn, 95 of Huntsville formally of Martinez, CA passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2018 at Cox Medical Center in Springfield, MO. He was born September 8, 1922 in Tripp, SD to Charlie Heihn and Mary Hoff-Heihn. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; three sisters and his grandson, Jeff Heihn.

Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Irene Taylor-Heihn of the home; two sons, Gary Heihn and wife Darlene of Martinez, CA and Keith Heihn and wife Paula of Huntsville; daughter, Beverley Howard of Huntsville; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Oakmont Cemetery in Lafayette, CA.
